Stampede Fundraiser

This project involved the strategic development of all marketing and event materials, along with project coordination and management for a company fundraising event. The deliverables included event-specific brand guidelines, e-vites, invitation letters, signage for raffle gifts, site-specific signage, and guest name tags.
To achieve a cohesive look and feel, the design approach incorporated the existing corporate brand guidelines, color scheme, and messaging, which were then adapted to fit the event's theme using Western archival elements and playful, retro-inspired typography. Special emphasis was placed on highlighting the fun and impactful purpose of the fundraiser during the Calgary Stampede season, embracing a nostalgic rodeo aesthetic.
One of the main challenges was managing and coordinating an event of this scale for the first time. This was addressed by adopting a new event management tool within the company’s corporate app suite and collaborating closely with team members to handle supply orders and prepare the event space efficiently.
The completed project resulted in excellent guest turnout and successfully raised funds for a cause that empowers and uplifts female entrepreneurs early in their careers. The final assets were also designed with reusability in mind for future summer fundraising events.
